Former Lagos State governor and All Progressives Congress (APC)leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has described the ruling Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) 12-year rule as demonic.
Tinubu said this“ demon of the corrupt government in the last12 years must be chased out at the next election.”
In his speech at the 3rd convocation ceremony of the Kano University of Scienceand Technology, Wudil where he was conferred with a doctorate degree, honoriscausa, Tinibusaid the federal government had made more Nigerians poorer, adding that the current high unemploymentrate and terrorin the countrycaused by poor leadership of the PDP was no longer acceptable.
The APC chief said; “There is no shame in wanting democracy to flourish, there is no shame in wanting prosperity for all Nigerians, there is no shame for anybody to be poor, but it’s a sin and unacceptable to keep the people poor at the expense of their enormous wealth.”
