A gas explosion killed at least one person and injured 10 in the city of New Taipei in Taiwan on Friday.
The explosion tore through windows of a residential building in the Xindian District of New Taipei around noon, injuring 11 people on the site.
A boy was confirmed dead shortly after being rushed to the hospital. A 3-year-old girl and a man were in critical conditions, according to the local fire department.
The cause of the explosion was under investigation.
Two weeks ago, a series of gas blasts in Kaohsiung killed 30 people and injured 310.
